「非常に不透明な環境のなかでも、3Mは引き続き戦略を実行し、お客様の期待に応えています。使い捨て式呼吸用保護具の売上減による影響を除けば、今期は3%を上回る有機的成長を遂げたことになります。マクロ経済の課題やドル高の影響を受けながらも、引き続き、利益率を前年同期に比べ増加させました。成長と生産性、そしてサステナビリティへの投資、ならびに積極的なポートフォリオ管理を通じて、3Mの未来を切り開いていきます。今期は、フードセーフティ事業の売却を完了し、ヘルスケア事業の分社化の手続きを開始しました。分社化により、世界クラスの公開会社が 2 社誕生することになります。」

この度、ドル高の進行やマクロ経済環境の不透明さを踏まえて、2022年通期の売上高・利益の予測を改めました。
