The 3M Open Fund, in conjunction with four partners—EMC, RBC, Total Expert and Caribou—had the pleasure of presenting M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital with a check for $80,000 on July 13 at the TPC Twin Cities Clubhouse.
The Charity Challenge event featured a golf challenge between partners to raise money for Masonic. In attendance were also personalities from iHeart radio to celebrate the pre-tournament lead up to the 3M Open and raise awareness of the Masonic Children’s Hospital’s outstanding efforts.
“We are so grateful to receive a check from today’s Charity Challenge,” says Nick Engbloom, director of development at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. “With this year’s check, we are going to look at some programs internally in the hospital with patients and families that they can use to help them heal… Every year this tournament happens, we are leaving a footprint, and by having this charity challenge, we’re leaving another footprint that patients and families will greatly use.”
