New poll shows 3M earns high marks for character, growth
2021年06月02日

Recent results from the Axios Harris Poll 100 show that 3M continues to be among the most visible and reputable companies in the country. National media outlet Axios hosted an online discussion on May 26 to unpack key findings from the poll, which surveyed more than 40,000 Americans on their perceptions of companies across industries. The poll and discussion show how 3M’s response to the pandemic has helped drive awareness of the many ways 3Mers apply science to global challenges.

Brian Henry, senior vice president, Communications, spoke with Axios media reporter Sara Fischer about how 3Mers worldwide used science to help fight the pandemic from all angles, our data-driven approach to helping governments promote resilience to future challenges, and 3M’s State of Science Index findings that illustrate the hope science offers people worldwide for a brighter future.

"At 3M we have a proud history of stepping up when the world needs us, and there’s no greater example of that than what we have done to help fight the pandemic,” Brian said. “We never stop innovating new ways to apply science to improve lives everywhere."

Brian also referenced how products and technology across 3M’s business groups are meeting customer needs and unique global challenges. This theme was reflected in the poll results, in which 3M earned “excellent” category scores for “Growth” and “Products/service.”
